Street musicians are a favorite subject for me. This string quartet were tremendous musicians enjoying the freedom to express themselves. Not everyone was as impressed given the chap on the stairs!

The Soul Cafe, Bold Street, Liverpool
Sunday morning and another photo walk in Liverpool. The Soul Cafe is the perfect place to people watch and enjoy Motown & other soul music. This chap was intent on reading sections from his newspaper; he was very engrossed in what he was reading.
Oxford Road Railway Station, Manchester, UK
I was waiting for a train home when this fellow came into the waiting room. He was clearly troubled by something and the disinterest by the two other passengers next to him seemed to heighten his woe.
Venice, Italy
This nun had been shopping for what would appear to be a gift. The surprise was the bag; La Perla is a lingerie store in Venice!

Waterloo Underground Station, London
I am always fascinated by commuters; this was taken towards the end of the morning rush hour when the crowds of commuters had thinned out. The center of attention was the lady in front of me.

I just liked how the two subjects were posed; I felt that the dog’s attention was focused on protecting his mistress.

The center of attention is the lens and left hand. The camera belonged to a Chinese gentleman who had joined our photo walk. He was more than happy to let his fellow photo walkers hold and use the camera despite its collectible.
Passing by an artisan chocolate shop in Krakow I saw this young lady concentrating on icing small slabs of white chocolate.
