This project is a tribute to my grandmother who I used to call “Minana”. This work was made between February and July of 2013. It gathers portraits of my family members and especially of my grandmother, Lucette Bonfanti. Through her illness, Alzheimer, until she passed away.

Her loss has been the triggering factor which produced in me this sudden need to register by capturing images before her memory or the memory of the place frays over time. The act of photographing gives me the opportunity to keep in memory what isn’t lasting.
