These backstage photos are from a flamenco fashion show that took place in a bodega in the city of Jerez in Andalucia, Spain, in February this year. Jerez de la Frontera is a stronghold for flamenco art and culture, famous for its yearly flamenco festival. Pasarela Flamenca Jerez is one of the major flamenco fashion shows organised in the region each year. The event is a showcase of the work of many designers and artists/artisans within the flamenco fashion sector. There is a lot of work behind these creations involving many people – all the roses, jewelry, and accessories have their place in achieving the final result.
