Annandale Distillery was first opened in 1830 and taken over by Johnnie Walker in 1893; however it was closed in 1924. Ninety years later it was reinstated and given a new lease of life when in 2014 the visitor center was opened and the first cask distilled. Today the distillery creates fine single malt Scotch whisky and host tours and tastings to whisky connoisseurs.
