He was a sixteen and seventeen year old man spending Thursday and Friday afternoons picking tomatoes in the fields. With his van fully loaded, he then on Saturdays and Sundays, at a gigantic flea market, sold vine ripe tomatoes three pounds for a dollar. Interacting with 1000’s of people from all over the world, he acquired a sales education that could not be learned from reading a book.
