This documentary photography produced in 2016 depicts the traditional as well as modern production technologies of the company Karl Otto Braun GmbH & Co. KG in Germany. The textile production has produced daily high-quality medical textiles for the last one hundred years. Starting from raw cotton, to millions of individual threads that are combined and woven into an intertwining texture to make the final product  — a medical bandage with its conjoining function. The photographs show also people deeply connected to the company and each other, through many decades of close collaboration and at the same time bearing signs of hard physical labor. The series are taken with natural light and provides an insight into the secret of German industrial success, the combination of traditional craftsmanship with technological innovation.
