new mexico to new york… back and forth… from la bajada to the lower east side… walking the sidewalks in two different time zones… being in each place, and a stranger in both… two places near to my heart, confounding to my mind… the light and the darkness… visual improvisation and juxtapositions… mental gentrification or the opposite…
