TOP SHELF Brazilian Music | Águas de Março By Elis Regina & Antonio Carlos Jobin

It is about midnight, on the streets of Ipanema.  Two lovers enter a nondescript Bossa Nova club. They make their way up one flight of stairs, open the door, then enter clandestine, into the dark smoke filled large room. They take their seats in the back , kiss and embrace, while the band begins to play a silky tune.

The man holds the women’s hand and the two casually sip on their drinks, while listening to the captivating music, being played for their delight. All worry’s and cares are lost during these moments and it’s only the music and their affection for each other. Nothing else in the world matters.

Rio is a little bit dangerous, but at the same time naughty and seductive to the soul.
