The Indomitables is an on-going photographic series started in May 2020, as I had recently moved from Paris to a very small village in France.
The series focuses on the people living in the region called “Le Morvan” (Burgundy), highlighting the ways in which they resist and maintain their social and cultural ties within their community. My aim is to unveil the lives of the people from the Morvan in the largest spectrum possible, not focusing on one particular activity. Though agriculture is an important activity and source of income for them, the region is also full of cultural, artistic and popular initiatives.
