(Some nights)
I want to get wine-drunk on dandelions
in some cigar-wood honky-tonk.
I want to get cronked and hammered
to the dash on Zen Gardens
as I drive off an ink pen
into the sea.
And then, as the Kia settles
deep into morning’s bedrock,
the 21st century dopplering
and muffling into silence,
I want to sit and watch all the things I miss
float
by.
Which is everything.
I want to sit and watch everything float by.
