when i was a little
kid
i wanted
x-ray glasses
and sea monkeys
but mostly
x-ray glasses
i wanted to know
what
grown ups were thinking
what
was going on in those
over-sized skulls
why
the long faces
why
the dead eyes
and
nothing nice to say
i thought
the glasses i bought
were
broken cause all i saw
was nothing
no matter what
angle
nothing but nothing
all grown up
now
and i know
exactly
what goes on in these over-sized
skulls
and it’s nothing
but
sea monkeys

I sea.
I wanted x-ray glasses to. Someone very little was living in that radio, I just knew.
