In Sicily there is no middle ground. Its Mediterranean soul is tossed, incessantly, between the new and the lived-in, between the sea and the mountains. A strange bond between the parties that has been radically consolidated from north to south of the island and that makes this territory multifaceted, structured according to languages and customs that vary from city to city. It could not be otherwise, in a land born and raised without masters, enriched by the most varied cultures over the centuries.
