At the Unposed Society Hannover, we are dedicated to the art of street photography as a means of capturing authentic, unfiltered moments of everyday life. Our mission is to celebrate the beauty of spontaneity, the diversity of human stories, and the power of the urban environment as a canvas for creative expression.
We strive to build a community where photographers of all levels can connect, share their perspectives, and refine their craft. Through workshops, exhibitions, and photowalks, we encourage the exploration of the streets as a source of inspiration and storytelling. By focusing on the unposed and candid, we aim to reveal the extraordinary within the ordinary and to challenge conventional perceptions of beauty and truth.
Our vision is to establish street photography as a bridge between art and life, fostering a deeper appreciation for the moments that often go unnoticed. Together, we capture the pulse of the city and preserve its stories, one frame at a time.

Guido Klumpe

Guido Klumpe has been working for many years in the border areas between abstract and minimalist street photography. His work has received numerous international awards and has been published.
Due to his congenital severe visual impairment, he perceives the world in a special way – for him, the city is made up of shapes, colors, reflections and light.
In this way, he creates a kind of stage on which passers-by act as protagonists.
He loves to show the mysterious and absurd in our urban spaces – but also their very own hidden beauty.
