Experimental is a collection of multi exposure images that deepen my interaction with nature. The process of combining my images of the environment around me allows me to explore different themes for myself and to communicate stories, ideas, and emotions. I become hyper aware of fleeting moments such as cascading snow off the trees, of scenes that whisper, of big worlds in small scenes, of potential images that prompt further questions. Trees are dominant in many of the images and symbolize strength and fragility. Many of the images in the project series deal with the destruction of our natural world, climate change, fear, but also hope. My connection to Nature deepens. I am grateful for the experiences of discovery and in awe of the hidden beauty of our natural world.

Alfredo is a landscape photographer from Colorado who focuses on photographing intimate landscapes and connecting with nature through the experience of discovery. Alfredo uses an explore driven approach to creating expressive images. He slows down, observes, and is guided by curiosity and instinct to piece together visual design elements in a cohesive way and to prompt questions from the viewer. Alfredo also embraces experimentation in his imagery to reveal a bit of himself and how he sees and connects with the natural world.  It is my goal that my images will become like mirrors, reflecting to the viewer my response to the environment around me.
