This photography project explores the intimate connection between men and their living spaces. Each portrait captures not just the individual, but the essence of his personal world. These interiors reflect identity and individuality, offering a glimpse into how these men shape their surroundings—and how, in turn, those spaces shape them.
Artist statement In May 2023 I graduated from the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam with my series Honkvast, which was also published in Parool Magazine. As a documentary photographer with a background in psychology I am fascinated by the relationship of people with their environment and how we shape and navigate the world around us. Through my lens, I aim to capture the intimacy and fragility of this relationship.
