In Feb 2019, my partner and I visited Cuba for the first time, spending 10 days in this amazing country. As our wonderful guide explained, Cuba has been held back for nearly 50 years from reaching her full potential, almost solely due to USA’s trade embargo. Cubans still live with a coupon system for daily essentials. But despite this on-going hardship, Cubans are a very proud Nation, and they are what make this beautiful country so vibrant, colorful and charming. I usually am out taking captures of beautiful landscapes, but in Cuba it was almost solely about its charismatic people and vibrant urban life. I wanted this Cuba Series to showcase this.

Bio

I’m a self-taught, Award-winning fine art/nature photographer living in beautiful Perth, Western Australia. My passion is to create stunning and captivating images showcasing the extraordinary beauty Mother Nature bestows for us, and I love pushing the boundaries of traditional landscape art, photography through use of movement, abstracts and minimalism.

I believe my art wonderfully illustrates that Mother Nature is the truly the ultimate artist. 

My first foray into photography was taking a Kodak Instamatic on a trip to Africa when I was 11 and I was a bit hooked. But it took many more years to really apply my love for it – life just got in the way. It wasn’t until about 5 years ago, I decided to make the leap and put a big focus on advancing my love for photography and starting my own business. See complete bio HERE
