I am a conceptual digital artist and experimental photographer based in Luxembourg.
My creative process blends through exploratory and unconventional digital manipulation of my own photos, drawings, and collages into highly conceptual layered compositions. I aim to create surreal and dreamlike worlds and imaginary abstract figurative art that portray reality and fantasy, fragility and strength, darkness and serenity, beauty and decay. This is why my style can be soft and playful yet dark, poetic yet unsettling.

Distortion, symbolism and allegory play a key role in my interpretation of ideas and emotions. Using my camera, I capture textures, mundane objects, and isolated moments, that later are being transformed with experimental photomontage and digital illustration.

Color, texture, form and posture serve as metaphors for fragility, emotional struggle and complexity of the human body and soul.
Human bodies are usually elongated, stretched, liquefied, and distorted. The exaggerated yet simplified forms and the lack of any specific characteristics is an intentional choice in an attempt to depict the essence of people. Their posture shows their struggle, distress, conflicts and small glimpses of happiness. The choice of color is deeply symbolic and tries to emphasize people’s burdens, solitude and passions or depict a state of beauty or catharsis that dissolves all mischief and pain and purifies the human body and soul. Each work, whether conceptual figurative art or pure photography, is a visual metaphor that explores what lies beneath the surface.

Today, I am an award-winning artist and photographer, and have received multiple honorable mentions in digital art and photography in major international juried competitions. Many of my works have also been featured and exhibited in distinguished art publications, art galleries, museums and art fairs in Europe and the US.

Every piece of art, crafts, or textiles, hanging on my walls or ceiling tells a tiny passage of my life. Most of it was acquired during my travels. Many of these treasures are damaged whether because they were broken on arrival, as the pieces were tightly stuffed into my backpack, or weathered by the unforgiving Florida tropical humidity. But in the end, they are my precious processions and they are part of the stories I tell. It feels good to have rugs hanging from the ceiling, masks on the walls, and drinking my morning coffee thinking of the mugs’ tale. The point here is that art has a lot to offer each one of us; ART IS VERY PERSONAL!
