“The city listens to the deep echo of the whale” is an ongoing photographic journey, a visual project born from the urgency to portray the city not only as a physical space, but as a living organism—a stage for emotions, memories, and intimate reflections. Through images charged with symbolism, emotion, and introspection, I seek to offer a personal and layered vision of urban reality, understood not so much as an external setting, but as a projection of the soul and a mirror of the contemporary human condition.
The whale, a mysterious and ancestral creature, becomes a metaphor for the depths: its echo spreads through the belly of the city, resonating in its voids, silences, and the cracks of everyday life. Within this imagined dialogue between the infinitely vast and the intimately small, between urban noise and inner silence, my gaze finds its place—seeking invisible connections, hidden presences, and details that escape haste.
Each photograph is a stage in an emotional exploration, a trace of what remains as time passes and the city sheds its skin. The images do not illustrate; they evoke. They are visual notes, poetic suspensions that invite the viewer to become a traveler—to pause, to linger, and to listen to the deep echo living beneath the surface.
Statement
My photography is a journey between memory and destiny, an exploration of light and shadow, psychology and self-determination. Each image is a window into the unconscious, an act of experimentation that challenges conventions and tells the story of an ever-evolving identity. Through my work, I explore the relationship between the individual and reality, between nostalgia and irony, seeking the hidden truth in detail. Photography thus becomes a testimony, a fragment of existence that brings us back to ourselves.
