Series 1

These chemigram prints were created by coating various resists onto silver gelatin paper and then exposing the paper to LED lighting. The prints were then developed using caffenol (a developer made from caffeic acid, vitamin C, washing soda, sodium carbonate, and water) and fixed using a forty-eight hour salt water bath.

Schneider was a finalist for Lensculture's 2026 Art Photography Awards and Photolucida’s 2023 Critical Mass, and was awarded the 2025 Lenscratch 3rd Place Student Prize. She has received Meredith’s Meredith Art Student Support (MASS) Grant and Duke’s Dean's Research Award for Master's Students.
