She receives us at birth and gives us nurture after birth, and when once brought forth, she always upholds us. And at the last, when we have been disinherited by the rest of nature, she embraces us in her bosom and gives us her maternal shelter and makes us sacred…
Domenico Albamonte – alias Luminis Imago, was born in Palermo (Sicily) in 1970 and lives in Rome. He's an amateur photographer whose main creative interests are the re-interpretation of art (mainly sculptures) and the contemporary landscape and engages also in documenting actions by civil and social rights movements. His visual language is mostly in black and white.
