This project moves along the unstable boundary between land and sea, observing how erosion continually reshapes the coastal landscape. The research focuses on the Lazio coast, where this transformation becomes visible and concrete. It is a fragile equilibrium in which nature and human intervention intertwine, revealing a process of transformation that is continuous and often irreversible. Within this space of transformation, the landscape becomes the trace of an equilibrium that can no longer be considered stable.

Serena Radicioli was born in Latina, Italy, in 1997. She completed a two-year program at Officine Fotografiche in Rome and, in 2025, earned her BA in Photography and Audiovisual Studies with highest honors from RUFA, Rome University of Fine Arts.

Her practice is grounded in an instinctive and layered engagement with photography, used as a tool of exploration and inquiry that moves beyond pure aesthetics to embrace the medium's inherent imperfections. The image is never treated as evidence, but as a trace, fragment, and critical device. In dialogue with human contexts and dynamics, she constructs visual narratives that question memory as a vulnerable, unstable space and also as a possibility for rewriting.
