I’m a fifty-six year old man trying to understand an increasingly complicated world. For over thirty-two years, I have been with an incredible woman. I’m very fortunate to have traveled to over sixty countries.
I’m a voracious reader. I enjoy reading newspapers, magazines, journals, blogs, public released government reports, press releases, news websites, public released organization reports, and books on a variety of subjects. I especially like reading books relating to oriental philosophy, with a main interest in Zen Buddhism and Taoism.
The Hermit Poet is also actively involved in the analysis of world affairs and the global economy; and finds it mentally stimulating relating international events with experience visiting different regions of the world. I enjoy investigating, dissecting, and summarizing how all the polished stones of the geopolitical puzzle move across the immense go board.
I believe being constantly connected (wired) is not good for the future of the human race. Eighteen years ago, I tossed my cellphone into the rubbish container.
Education: Bachelor of Business Administration with concentration in International Business from Florida Atlantic University. I have over thirty-five years’ experience as a small business owner.
