Harar in eastern Ethiopia is the fourth-holiest city for Muslims, following Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem. It´s famous old town is the only walled city south of the Sahara desert, with 82 mosques and 364 alleys stuffed into only one square kilometer. In one of those alleys, the sewing-machine-street, you can order a new suit or dress to be sown.

The Dorze are one of the tribes in the Guge Mountains, belonging to the huge group of tribes in Southern Ethiopia, the so-called “Museum of tribes/man”. They´re living just like their ancestors did. The Dorze are Christians belonging to the Ethiopian-orthodox church.
