The desert southwest is a special place for me. Light tells the story and my eye and camera record the narrative. Infrared in some cases helps me explore the shapes and forms that engage me.
An award winning photographer, Beamie Young has been creating photographs for the past 48 years. In the past, she shot on B&W film and worked in the darkroom. Today, she loves using her digital camera and Adobe Photoshop. She enjoys capturing unique tones, patterns, textures, reflections, and light. Her passion for B&W continues to this day.
