Just when life seems stale
The winds change direction
And you begin to sail!
No longer deflated
By life’s trials and tribulations.
Lady Luck now sings:
Congratulations!
There is no sense in bailing;
This will not be your failing.
Take solace in knowing
That in this blowing
You will begin anew!
Remind yourself:
That in the end
You’re a longtime dead.
So, grab the needle and thread
And sew
until it is your time to go!
