Written by Dan Fraleigh
You are frail; a mere shadow of your youth.
No longer do you intimidate me.
I can see your truth.
I am no longer mad, but sad.
You used your status to take my innocence away;
just for your sexual play.
Years later my wounds still burn.
I yearn for a different memory.
But alas, the past cannot be erased.
The slate can never be cleaned.
My naivety never redeemed.
But here you stand, old, feeble and pathetic.
You show no remorse of course.
Your narcissistic guise is no surprise.
But, despite your harm, I have lived a life of charm.
The best revenge is living well.
Our story I will continue to tell.
Your type thrive in secrecy and shame.
Like many victims, we tend to take the blame.
Oh, not me you see!
I will expose you for the predator you are; both near and far.
I will draw back your curtain; that is for certain!

When we’ve, gotten over the rape, the molestations that someone had, done to us, leaving the individuals who had, hurt us, destroyed our trust in our own selves behind, we’ve, W-O-N, and, they’d, L-O-S-T, because, we now have our, futures ahead, while, they’d been, LEFT BEHIND in our, pasts.
