Written by Heather Williamson
If I had no pen
I would compose poetry
With my heart
The kiss given to your children
To wish them a good night
The stroking of the cat
The glance toward
The one your soul loves best
Even the sweeping of a room
When done with
A heart full of love
These all are poetry
For poetry in is essence
A thing bringing joy or hope to another
Solace in grief
Comfort and familiarity
This is the poetry
We live out day by day
Written on the souls of those we love
