Bare Faced Lies

Written by Adam Adamson

Do I really need a lesson

when I’m guessing

whose been messing

with my friendship bone for nearly half a year?

Now I’m not one for confessing,

or expressing

my succession

when I’m left outside to dry. Oh, let me hear.

How in life there is aggression.

No concession

for oppression,

but a good deed needs to last, but this, I fear.

I don’t stand for evanescent,

adolescent,

prepubescent

quests of lies/ deceit/ you’re just plane insincere.
