Lia Mageira, a Greek writer and photographer, graduated from the University of West Attica, Greece. Her work has been published in several national and international newspapers, magazines, and websites, both in print and online. Among them are The Greek Reporter, GoNomad, Atlas Obscura, Resonate, and Frsthand Magazine. Lia has also appeared in art and literary journals, both as a cover artist and contributor, most recently in Long Con Magazine, Spectaculum Magazine, Edge of Humanity Magazine, Mud Season Review, Josephine Quarterly Magazine, The SunLight Press, Star82 Review Magazine, Typehouse Magazine, Absynthe Magazine, Rivanna Review Magazine, Zoetic Press and elsewhere. She has earned two nominations for the Best of the Net Awards 2021 and 2025. Her project “Achaia Clauss Winery” is included in the photobook “Squardi diVini”, an Edition of the Trieste Photo Days Festival.
