In a world that monitors, analyzes, and controls everything, I am fascinated by shadow zones, pockets of mystery that even the most advanced technologies have not yet been able to colonize.

Among these uncontrolled territories are those of dreams: a vast continent of ambiguities and vertigo, whispering its truths in the language of symbols and visions.

With my series « Murmures de l’âme », I sought to explore this mental space where the rational gives way to the instinctive. These territories where words falter and images take over.

A visual wandering through fragments of memory, blurred intuitions, buried emotions, in an attempt to capture not a raw reality, but a silent vibration, a trace of shadow or light that consciousness struggles to name.

An invitation not to understand, but to feel.

A descent into who we are, in the most secret depths of ourselves.

And what if this were the last freedom? A space where we do not decide, where we control nothing. An untamed place where we stop performing and simply are: confused, incoherent, alive.

The freezing of a moment is a magical event. Images can make us feel love, rage and every sensation in between.

Photographers, whether partial or impartial to their subject matter, consume a massive amount of insight. Their participation cannot be substituted nor replicated. The moment is gone! The experiences will live in their minds and those encounters are immortalized in their photographs.

Edge of Humanity Magazine’s ‘Photography & Philosophy’ series will bring together the art and the mind of these fantastic creators.
