A series of very different snapshots, postcards taken from a broader narrative about Italy, depict a country caught between modernity and antiquity, between urban and natural landscapes.

A dynamic element, be it water or wind, a youth suspended between childhood and adulthood, a landscape in transition from natural to urban, from ancient to contemporary, suggests the idea of the transit to which our lives are destined.

Short Bio

An independent photojournalist, she was an assistant to the late Gabriele Basilico and has worked with some of the leading Italian and international magazines. She has collaborated with the Grazia Neri Agency and with *D-La Repubblica delle donne*. For several years now, she has been exploring themes related to contemporary history and social dynamics, including in areas of crisis and conflict. For her, photography means capturing, within the flow of events and everyday life, that moment in which elements and forms combine to convey to the viewer the essence of information and her own thoughts.

Her most recent projects focus on contemporary Italy and the reinterpretation of colonial memory.

Her photographs are held in various collections, including the MUNAF – National Museum of Photography, the Art Collection of the Farnesina (Ministry of Foreign Affairs – MAECI), the Alinari Foundation, the Donata Pizzi Collection and others. Some of her works are represented by the Galleria Alessia Paladini in Milan. Born in Rimini, she works in Milan.
