The series describes the old Jewish Biblical tradition of harvesting wheat. For generations, Ultra-Orthodox Jewish people have kept the annual ritual of harvesting and collecting wheat with a sickle—an ancient harvesting tool. The wheat is preserved for a year and is used to make unleavened bread (Matza) for the next Passover holiday. As part of the tradition, many families share the experience with their children. The pictures were taken in wheat fields in central Israel.
