Basque Country, Euskal Herria in Basque language

 

 

 

 

 

The Basque Country region extends over France and Spain.  This is Amikuze,  a rural region of low mountain where farming and pastoralism are important activities. The inhabitants are attached  to their traditions and speak “l’euskara” a language among the oldest of the world,  the house ” etxe ” is the heart of  family and society.
