“I want to provoke a feeling of attraction towards nature, the unknown, the mystery, the dreamlike. For me nature is a symbol, it is sacred and bears within it the traces of something that goes beyond it and speaks to that part of ourselves that we share with it.
I try, through various more or less abstract researches, to paint the border that binds man to nature and separates it at the same time. I try to paint the past and future presence, the imprint, the passage, the presence and absence of time.”
