“Win At All Cost”

Society accepts and even reveres ‘the win at all cost’ mentality as being necessary for ones success in life.

When fighting for something that one truly believes belongs to them, ‘the win at all cost’ outlook will make that person stronger. If the attempt is successful, he or she will enjoy tremendous satisfaction. If the endeavor had a negative outcome, one will feel defeated for a while, but eventually, feeling better for not just giving up without trying to retrieve what was lost. Time goes by and life goes on.

The satisfaction felt by the individual that succeeded using ‘the win at all cost’ attitude towards acquiring something that belongs to someone else or to take advantage from an unguarded opportunity will be empty. Even if strategy replications keep bringing on triumphs, one’s head on a pillow at night can be showered by starry nights or haunted by deformed imagery, most likely reflecting the harvest of the day.
