She understood herself, encountering her back.
BURDEN
Himself dying, he carried the coffin.
INEXPLICABLE
She held tense, knowing no valve.
JOURNEY NO. 2
Seeking himself, he wandered through fires.
PURCHASE
Her voice hardened, money at hand.
IMAGINING AGAIN
Chained, shackled, he tried running anyway.
IDEA
The wind wailed. We quieted, self-conscious.
AGAINST ROCK
Hands gashed, she wanted to climb.
