At the Unposed Society Hannover, we are dedicated to the art of street photography as a means of capturing authentic, unfiltered moments of everyday life. Our mission is to celebrate the beauty of spontaneity, the diversity of human stories, and the power of the urban environment as a canvas for creative expression.
We strive to build a community where photographers of all levels can connect, share their perspectives, and refine their craft. Through workshops, exhibitions, and photowalks, we encourage the exploration of the streets as a source of inspiration and storytelling. By focusing on the unposed and candid, we aim to reveal the extraordinary within the ordinary and to challenge conventional perceptions of beauty and truth.
Our vision is to establish street photography as a bridge between art and life, fostering a deeper appreciation for the moments that often go unnoticed. Together, we capture the pulse of the city and preserve its stories, one frame at a time..

André Weissgerber has been taking photographs for many years.
Aside from street photography, he regularly makes forays into other genres such as event, architecture or portrait photography because he finds inspiration by trying out new things.
André’s pictures are often reduced and minimalist and characterized by strong contrasts. He has the ability to expressively photograph banal and sometimes dreary places and things.
