At the Unposed Society Hannover, we are dedicated to the art of street photography as a means of capturing authentic, unfiltered moments of everyday life. Our mission is to celebrate the beauty of spontaneity, the diversity of human stories, and the power of the urban environment as a canvas for creative expression.
We strive to build a community where photographers of all levels can connect, share their perspectives, and refine their craft. Through workshops, exhibitions, and photowalks, we encourage the exploration of the streets as a source of inspiration and storytelling. By focusing on the unposed and candid, we aim to reveal the extraordinary within the ordinary and to challenge conventional perceptions of beauty and truth.
Our vision is to establish street photography as a bridge between art and life, fostering a deeper appreciation for the moments that often go unnoticed. Together, we capture the pulse of the city and preserve its stories, one frame at a time.

Sascha Vogel

Sascha Vogel has been photographing regularly for around 10 years. After initially focusing on urban motifs such as architecture and street art, he has been concentrating almost entirely on street photography since 2018.
He describes his style as ‘consistently ambivalent’ – with a penchant for motifs that amuse him and, at best, others. Vogel also likes to work with reflections, lines and interesting lighting situations and captivates with his juxtaposition motifs.
