The pictures show places without geographic signs. They are an interpretation of reality, not a document of reality. Strong light and long shadows bring an absurd atmosphere into the situation. Under the surface lie secrets and various questions about our existence. My intention was to transform the places into spiritual spaces with a surreal aura. So, behind the pictures is a hidden magical reality.
I am a German photographer, living and working in Munich. After my education as photographer and cameraman I was active for several industrial companies, film productions and television stations. In the last years I worked only for my private noncommercial photographic productions. My intention is to create pictures with a strong personal handwriting. I am searching and finding my themes in magic places and spaces, surreal landscapes and abstract objects.
