Who We Are
As Istanbul Candid Street Photographers, with the power we gain from the synergy that arises from our differences, we want to make our mark in world photography with the moments we capture from the colors, light, and melodic emotions of this geography, and to represent our country with the footprint we leave behind.
Our mission is to bring our country’s street photography to the international level and at the same time to become one of the reference points of street photography in Turkey.
Our approach to photography also reflects our view of life. Our approach to photography is based on the belief that the truth is too extraordinary, simple and complex to be fictionalized, and at the same time beautiful.
We are the runners of a never-ending marathon who have been loving and respecting each other for a long time, running after extraordinary moments in the chaos and unpredictability of the city, in the pursuit of extraordinary moments in mediocrity.

After observing different categories of photography, I enjoy taking and viewing such photographs in which the environment and the people are in harmony.
In 2016, I realized street photography. As a result of my experience, having our camera with us when we go out on the street allows us to capture different photographic scenes at the moment.
The pleasure in the mystery of street and its being full of surprises bond me to street photography with a great desire and passion. I enjoy seeing how patience, the right timing (critical moment) and often unplanned frames turn ordinary scenes into beautiful photographs.
I try to emphasize the humor or drama which is spontaneous, to capture the beauty of the quirks and coincidences of daily life without staging or manipulation.
I love the vibrant colors on the streets, losing myself in the energy of the unexpected, humorous moments that occur amongst mass crowds.
Getting prepared to capture these perfect moments and taking its photo makes me feel happy and I know that this is the most precious feeling.
