Anastasia Nelson and Phil Dynan have collaborated on their art for over 25 years. The two artists own the Accidental Animal Rescue Center in Northern California and all art sales are used to support the animals in the Center.

Four of the pieces in this portfolio are 3D, Viewer Interactive, wall sculptures painted in Reverse Perspective. The sculptures appear to have motion when the viewer moves in any direction. The Tardis in the Land of Van Gogh won the People’s Choice Award at the California State Fair. It collected over 9 Million (video) views on TikTok and Facebook. These are collaborative works.

Two of the pieces deal with the issue of Migration and are based on the artist’s own experience. These triptychs have won various awards, including from the San Diego Museum of Art and the California State Fair. These two pieces are by Phil Dynan.

Three of the cat portraits are of rescues at the artists’ rescue center. One, “Chloe”, lives in Hawaii. The book selections are based on the personalities of the cats. These are collaborative works. The two artists pass work back and forth until they feel it is finished. No arguments in 25 years!

Every piece of art, crafts, or textiles, hanging on my walls or ceiling tells a tiny passage of my life. Most of it was acquired during my travels. Many of these treasures are damaged whether because they were broken on arrival, as the pieces were tightly stuffed into my backpack, or weathered by the unforgiving Florida tropical humidity. But in the end, they are my precious processions and they are part of the stories I tell. It feels good to have rugs hanging from the ceiling, masks on the walls, and drinking my morning coffee thinking of the mugs’ tale. The point here is that art has a lot to offer each one of us; ART IS VERY PERSONAL!

The NO MIDDLEMAN ART GALLERY offers that personal experience as the individual has the opportunity to buy the art from the creator and by doing so a new event to remember is born.
