Written by Justin Lauderdale

Lit by the moonlight
Underneath a sea of stars
I lie in the grass
Admiring meadows, afar

Away from city streets

From people rushing here and there

I enjoy the evening breeze

Of gentle mountain air

As I lay here

Admiring the calming night

In front of me rises

A wonderful sight

As if I receive a gift

From the stars above

I see the quiet glow

Of my wife, my love
