Written by Brenda Mox
She was not so sure
what she was looking for
though she loved
the melody of his voice.
Just not the stubborn streaks
of a prankster’s choice.
Still, she danced
with his mischievous flair
as bright bubbles of moments
hung in the air,
drifting, eternal, everywhere
to the sound of his melody
so sweetly strange and rare.
