This series features photographs from some of the world’s most beautiful libraries. These images are among my finest works, made possible by gaining rare access to photograph these extraordinary interiors entirely on my own.
The project began in 2011 with my first library: the New York Public Library in Manhattan. I was granted permission to enter before it opened to the public, and that experience sparked a passion to seek out other uniquely stunning libraries around the world. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to finding these remarkable spaces and capturing them when they are completely free of people.
Achieving this has required persistence and careful planning, but it has resulted in one of my most successful and meaningful series to date.

Artist Statement: Having traveled as much as I have over the past number of years, I've amassed a tremendous inventory of photos from the 109 countries I have visited. Diversity in style is not recommended for any artist in any genre but that is where my work is today. Experimenting with a variety of ideas my photography has been featured in museums, galleries, magazines, blog posts and books. Constantly striving to present the world in a unique photographic form, pushes me to continue sent to search for a new vision on photography. Starting out with Tilt-shift as my first dive into manipulating photos actually brought me into the professional realm of photography working with Lumas, an international German gallery. From there my career took off. Since 2011 I have created a number of different and stylish ways of presenting my photos. The next series that I created was "Time Slice". This series of photographs consists of 36 individual photos taken of iconic architecture before, during and after sunset showing the change of day to night in one single image. The latest project are my "Vertical Churches" photos. In the ten years of photographing churches around the world I’ve shot over 150 different images that I have published a book on this body of work. My work is being sold currently with a few galleries and online stores. As I am always searching for new connections and retailers to sell my work I try and distinguish each venue for their own personal styles. Recent highlights as a photographer was being chosen as a featured photographer to participate in the 2021 & 2019 PhEST Photo Festival in Monopoli, Italy. The Gestaltung Museum in Zurich, Switzerland featured my vertical church photos in their "Knowledge and Images" in 2020 as well as working with book publisher Taschen on "History of Information Graphics".
