Artist Statement I define myself not as a storyteller, but as a recorder. My photographs are not constructed narratives; they are fragments of moments encountered and documented as they are. Although the street is an important field in my practice, what defines my work is not the place but the mode of observation. I work without intervention or direction, allowing the natural rhythm of the street to continue uninterrupted. Acting as an invisible witness, I photograph people without their awareness, preserving their gestures, routines, and presence in their most natural state. For me, the street is not a stage but a site of documentation where the full weight of modern life unfolds. Using the city as a backdrop, I aim to record individuals in their most vulnerable and authentic forms. These works document the silent presence of the individual within the crowd and the often unseen burden of contemporary urban life.
