Don’t be afraid, child, everything will be alright, 

let us avoid misfortune, like two happy crows. 

Don’t be afraid, child,

you hold my arms, you that shadow is coming, 

it’s just the car lights illuminating faces in the rain. 

Under God’s eaves, we are parts of eternal power, 

we are the wind, the rain, and the lightning,

also the seeds He watches over.

Don’t be afraid, child, I’ve released the dove, 

it moves far away in the fog and gloom, 

you can walk in the ark,

feeding the mosquitoes and the elephants.
