Bergen Black and White is a long-term photographic exploration of the architectural landscape of Bergen, Norway. Known for its dramatic weather and interesting history.
By working exclusively in black and white, the series removes the distraction of color and emphasizes structure, rhythm, contrast, and atmosphere. Rain, fog, and low light become active elements that shape the perception of space and time.
Rather than documenting landmarks, the project seeks to reveal the emotional and symbolic presence of architecture.
