This documentary photography depicting community nurses was submitted to Edge of Humanity Magazine by documentary photographer Sam Ivin.

The documentary takes place in the cities of Newport and Usk in South Wales. Sam Ivin’s project follows two nurses on their day to day routine to document their work and dedication, as well as their relationship with patients.

The district will need 10,000 new nurses. It’s estimated that 35% of the nurses are over age of 50 and that by 2025 the access to this very needed help will be endangered if the system does not increase the number of nurses to take care of the residents young and old in the need of health care assistance, in their homes.
