This fine art/urban photography essay was submitted to Edge of Humanity Magazine by Fine Art Photographer Tony Sellen.

The Bridge of Peace is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge over the Kura River in Tbilisi, capital of Georgia. In the city there are many new impressive examples of architecture. The Bridge of Peace is made of glass and steel with 1200 LEDs attached that give an impressive light display every night. The bridge was built in Italy and then exported to Georgia where it has been dominating the view along the river since 2010.

Travelling through time in the time tunnel. The Doctor comes up through the cast iron tunnel running below The Thames.
There are many interesting characters in London with many interesting places to find them. Greenwich foot tunnel is an ancient tunnel that runs from one side of the huge Thames River to the other.

Battersea Power Station, such an iconic building standing next to The Thames. Its currently being developed into flats. This London city landmark will never look the same again.

One of Europe’s most advanced office buildings, Metropolitan Building. Norman Foster designed this impressive modern building to be built in the historic Pilsudski Square, in the city of Warsaw Poland.

The Thames barrier protecting the greatest city in the world, London. The light shining off the barrier and shimmering in the strong city waters of The Thames. In the distance you can see the impressive buildings of the city that the barrier protects.

Sitting on the south side of Vauxhall bridge stand the towering blocks. Looking messing like warriors, they stand over The Thames seeing all that goes on. The moody sky above and the shimmering waters below they look like guardians of the city of London.

Built for the turn of the century as the millennium dome the impressing structure is now owned by media giants O2. Hosting top concerts and offering many forms of entertainment and restaurants, The O2 is a popular London venue. You can even walk over the top of it.

The Leadenhall Building also known as The Cheese-grater towers high into the London sky. Standing opposite The Lloyds Building and round the corner to The Gherkin this part of the city has some wonderful architecture.
