I started this series during the Covid period, I had little or no ideas for photographs, lacking inspiration I returned to the surrounding nature. The blank page syndrome, lacking inspiration in these particular times, I walked the same places, near my village in Provence. The fifth season is a season suspended in time where colors and textures mix. Rather accustomed to the language of black and white images, I took the plunge into color, the fifth season is my little symphony of colors. The fifth season is a mysterious and captivating season, which is located between summer and autumn. It is often called the intermediate season, because it represents a transition between two very distinct periods of the year. The leaves begin to change color, going from bright green to yellow, orange and flamboyant red.
The symbolism attached to this fifth season is strong: it represents the passage of time, the cycle of nature and our ability to accept the inevitable changes that occur in our lives. The fifth season invites us to slow down the hectic pace of daily life to appreciate these magical moments where everything seems suspended in a fragile balance between past and future.
Artist photographer, Pierre Gable, 55 years old, goes beyond a work on the aesthetics of his images; the encounter with the other, with his gaze is necessary.
